The beginning…

The word Sadguru (Satguru) is often used and confused with commonly used word Guru. Before we begin the journey, it is important to understand that Shri Sadguru is different from other forms of gurus, such as musical instructors, scriptural teachers, college teachers, parents, and so on. No doubt all of them have an important role to play in our life, but Shri Sadguru, is the ultimate teacher a ‘true Guru’, who can guide us on the Spiritual path, a path which leads us to the realisation of self, through realisation of God. Just like most of the people, I was perplexed, as well, when i first heard the words, “Spiritual path”, “Self-realisation”, “Ultimate truth” “Awakening” etc. However, over a period of time, during my brief journey, with my Shri Sadguru, and after listening to his words of wisdom, I have started to understand the real meaning of these words. Frankly, there is long way to go, to understand everything but with blessings of Shri Sadguru, the journey has begun, the goal is set. Whether it will take a life time to reach the goal, or two is not known, but as it is said in Bhagwat Geta,

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥”?

Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

Before, I move further, it is important, that readers, should know little bit about my Shri Sadguru, Greatest Saint, P. Pu. Sadgurunath Shri Kaka Maharaj (Shri. Shripad Anant Vaidya). On the auspicious day of Shri Dutta Jayanti, Shri Kaka Maharaj, was born to the fortune in a Brahmin family of Shri. Anant Vaidya and Smt. Usha Vaidya, in the small village Anjarile in Kokan. Shri Vaidya family, was devotee of Lord Dutta, and it was no surprise that, Shri Shripad (Shri Kaka Maharaj) born on Shri Dutta Jayanti, become fond of Shri Dutta Prabhu at very early age. Shri Kaka Maharaj, who has lakhs of followers, today, had childhood full of hardship, pain and suffering. Still, with self-determination he got Mechanical engineering degree and secured a good job in a reputed company in Pune. Shortly, after marrying in 1973, to Ms. Jayashree Shankar Damle (Sou. Kaku Mauli), Shri Kaka Maharaj life took a dramatic twist. It was during this period, the Vaidya family went through a very bad phase and there was no ray of hope to overcome the problems faced by Vaidya family. However, as every dark night is followed by a bright morning, Vaidya family, was blessed, by the Ultimate Saint, P. Pu. Shri Gadbole Maharaj. Shri Gadbole Maharaj, single handily with his divine power sorted out all the troubles punishing the sinners and restoring happiness in the Vaidya Family. After witnessing the divine powers of Shri Gadbole Maharaj, Shri Kaka Maharaj, but natural got attracted towards, Shri Gadbole Maharaj. This attraction was mutual. Shri Gadbole Maharaj was also impressed by dedication, curiosity and spiritual potential of Shri Kaka Maharaj. There was some divine message when Shri Gadbole Maharaj, addressed his new disciple saying “I am waiting for you, for the last 1000 years” and expressed his desire to bestow his supreme strength unto Shri Maharaj.”

It was in year 1975, just after 2 years of marriage, Shri Kaka Maharaj got on to the path as shown by his Sadguru Shri Gadbole Maharaj. After resigning from the well paid job in a reputed company in Pune, Shri Kaka Maharaj, moved to Kokan and spend 7 years practicing Spirituality. During this period, he helped thousands of needy people from all castes and sects overcome their problems and brought them back in life. In year 1981, Shri Kaka Maharaj, came back to pune and continued his work of inculcating positive vibes into people down with physical or mental agony and inclined them to the path of spirituality in its true meaning.

P.P. Sadguru Shri Kaka Maharaj have been serving the mankind since 1975. Through his discourse (Satsang) he has helped and guided many people suffering from unhappiness, sorrows, ailments, problems, or are victim of the fierce materialistic race in the world. He says, “One can strike right balance in his spiritual and material life by the above mentioned 2 things i.e. Naam Sadhana and faith on Sadguru. By chanting the holy name of God along with strong devotion and faith in Sadguru & His teachings, a person can lead a peaceful, fearless and joyous life”. He says that preaching of Shri Sadguru is the need of time.

I am fortunate to be with Shri Kaka Maharaj, since last 18 years. I have learnt a lot just by being with him over years. His discourse are Gold mine of wisdom not only on Spiritual Path but also in Material life. In fact, Shri Kaka Maharaj does not like to differentiate between two walks of life. According to him, Spirituality is nothing but, successfully leading the material life without getting attached with material things in life. With blessings of P. Pu. Shri Kaka Maharaj, starting today, I plan to share blogs at a regular interval, which will be combination of; translation of discourse by P. Pu. Shri Kaka Maharaj, my interpretation of these discourses, my experiences with Shri Kaka Maharaj, my understanding of the subject, some unknown facts about my Shri Sadguru etc.
